Andrea Miller
Office Manager
Ms. Miller is proud to claim being a Washington native. Having traveled a lot, she loves and appreciates what the world has to offer, but cannot imagine calling anywhere else home.
As a mother of a child with special needs, Andrea is most proud of her contributions to areas of the community related to children with special needs.
In 2000, she went back to school, and achieved her Associates Degree in Business Administration. During that time she was the Program/Administrative Assistant for a non-profit in the Rainier Valley whose purpose addressed issues of poverty and inequality. During the Seattle budget crunch of 2002 the program lost its primary funding and closed its doors in January 2003. During that same month Ms. Miller continued her educational journey at the University of Washington, Bothell and graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences with a minor in Human Rights.
In 2006 she was searching for a way to integrate all parts of her life into the support of an organization that valued their role in the community. Joining NBA in 2007 as their Office Manager, Ms. Miller has discovered that by supporting the staff of NBA she is supporting the knowledge, experience, and passion that drive these professionals to do such great work impacting and improving children’s lives, not only locally but abroad.
Andrea is also active on her son’s school’s PTSA, continues to seek out education, and continues developing projects related to supporting the special needs community in general.
