Meet Our Staff

Mary Tinsley , M.S., BCBA
Program Supervisor

Ms. Kubala, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, earned her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Northeastern, Mary worked as a teacher, staff and parent trainer, and research assistant at the New England Center for Children in Southboro, MA. At the New England Center, Mary gained experience working with children and adolescents in early intervention, preschool, day school and residential programs.

Before beginning her graduate work in Massachusetts, Mary worked at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism as a Behavior and Curriculum Specialist. At the Cleveland Clinic, Mary work with students with autism and other developmental disabilities, ranging in ages from 16 months to 19 years of age. Mary earned her B.S. in Experimental Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College in Cleveland, Ohio where she served as the lab assistant for the experimental analysis animal laboratories. It was also at this time that Ms. Kubala began working with children with autism using the techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Since joining the staff at NBA in the summer of 2005, Mary has assumed the role of research coordinator. Under this position, Mary organizes all upcoming research studies, lectures, workshops and conferences. She has also coordinates a monthly informational guest lecture series at NBA in which service providers from varying disciplines participate.

Mary has conducted and participated in numerous research studies, professional conferences and presentations. Her professional memberships include Association for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), BABBIT (Berkshire Association for Behavior Analysis and Therapy) and CCBS (Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies). Ms. Kubala is a certified Microsoft ABA provider and an authorized ABA provider through TRICARE. In addition, Ms. Tinsley is a Certified Counselor in Washington state.
